Protestbum takes its name from one of humanity’s cheekiest gestures of defiance: turning your back on authority and showing it exactly what you think. The bare bum delivers a message that needs no translation: “You may have the power, but you haven’t earned my respect.”

We’re bringing that irreverent spirit to civic participation. Protestbum connects people who have something to say with opportunities to show up, stand together, and make themselves heard. We believe participation should be within everyone’s reach, not just those with money, connections, or time to spare.
